EBRD TO PROVIDE MOLDOVA WITH 5.4 MLN. EUROS FOR THE REALIZATION OF A WASTE MANAGEMENT PROJECT

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide Moldova with a grant of 5.4 million euros for the realization of the project “Solid Waste in the Republic of Moldova”. As INFOTAG reports, the government on Wednesday approved a draft on ratification of the agreement with the bank.

The grant will be used to finance infrastructure projects in the northern Moldovan districts of Briceni, Ocnita, Edinet and Donduseni.

The project “Solid Waste in the Republic of Moldova” is aimed at developing the relevant infrastructure in the three waste management regions, in line with the provisions of the Waste Management Strategy in the Republic of Moldova and the National Waste Management Program for 2022-2027.
